In July, MICD sought a comprehensive brand refresh to better align their visual identity with the true scale, maturity, and heart of their ongoing community programs.

Challenge
Despite their profound on-the-ground impact, MICD’s previous visual identity felt fragmented and outdated. It lacked a cohesive design system, making it difficult to effectively communicate their mission, establish immediate trust, and appeal to modern donors, institutional partners, and new volunteers across digital and physical touchpoints.
Objective
The goal was to revitalize the brand by creating a warm, authoritative, and modern visual language. This involved designing a more meaningful logo mark, establishing an accessible, vibrant color palette and typography system, and developing robust brand guidelines to ensure consistency across social media campaigns, fundraising collateral, and community outreach materials.
Results
The rebranded identity beautifully captured the essence of MICD's mission, projecting immediate trust and professionalism. The new modular visual system streamlined their internal communications and marketing efforts, resulting in stronger donor engagement, a highly cohesive online presence, and renewed confidence from their global community partners.
